Crumbl Cookies Is Coming To Crystal Lake

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A fast-growing cookie shop that's garnered national attention and received rave reviews from its many fans over social media is coming to Crystal Lake.

Crumbl Cookies will open its first McHenry County location later this year at 5500 Northwest Highway in Crystal Lake, city officials recently announced.

"Crumbl Cookies features CD-sized cookies and a rotating menu of unique and trendy flavors. Some cookies are served warm, like the classic milk chocolate chip, while others like the banana cream pie cookie, are served chilled and topped with banana pudding and a wafer," according to city officials.

Crumble Cookies opened its first cookie shop in 2017. Since then, the company has opened 576 shops across the U.S., including several in the Chicago area in Naperville, Schaumburg, Gurnee and Buffalo Grove.

The have become a hit on social media and Instagram, partially because of the look of the cookies and partially because of the pretty pink boxes the cookies are placed side by side in. The stores offer five to six different cookies to choose from each week with the chocolate chip cookie always available. Four to five speciality flavors are announced every Sunday night.
