Crystal Lake Ice Conditions Force Cancellation of Special Events

Chili Open at Main Beach and Ice Fishing Derby at West Beach Cancelled for 2020

After careful review of the current ice conditions at Main Beach and discussions on what would be needed to safely prepare the Chili Open golf course as well as safely host large crowds of ice fisherman, equipment and vehicles for the Ice Fishing Derby at West Beach, the Crystal Lake Park District made the decision to cancel both events for this year. Any registered golfer foursomes and fisherman will receive a full refund. For more information contact the Crystal Lake Park District at (815) 459-0680.
