Crystal Lake Library Starts Curbside Pickup
The Crystal Lake Public Library began offering curbside pickup this past week.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake Public Library is now offering curbside pickup for cardholders. Those interested in checking out materials can put items on hold online and library staff will call once material is available to schedule a pickup time, according to library officials.
The library began offering the new service on Monday. And library officials have put social distancing practices in place to keep everyone safe.
Those picking up materials should use the Paddock Street entrance to enter the parking lot and will be asked to wait in designated spots in the parking lot, according to the library's website. Staff will have protective gear on and will place the bag of materials in the patron’s car trunk or set it on the ground, according to the Crystal Lake Library website.
