Crystal Lake Lions Club donates art scholarships

Creative Arts studio awarded funds for 2 scholarship students

The Crystal Lake Lions Club is sponsoring two youth art scholarships this year at Creative Arts, Inc. studio. This generous donation will allow two young artists with financial need to take free art classes throughout 2026. Past scholarship students have had wonderful success at art classes, local art shows, and going on to college. Some of those students return to the studio as volunteers, art camp assistants, and instructors. Learn more at: creativartsinc.org/donate

Creative Arts nonprofit studio's mission is to provide exceptional quality art instruction for children and adults in order to build skills and explore art forms, while nurturing the creativity of individuals at all ability levels. Classes are offered for ages 6 to adult. Over 60 classes and 16 instructors offer a wonderful variety of art, including Colored Pencil, Animation, Sculpting, Stained Glass, Digital Art, Oil Painting, Watercolor, Crochet, Sewing, and more. Art camps are upcoming during Spring and Summer school breaks.
