Crystal Lake Man Charged in Connection With Tavern Burglary
A Woodstock man has also been charged for his alleged involvement in a burglary at Clasen's Tavern in Union on Aug. 4.

A Crystal Lake man and Woodstock man have been charged for their alleged involvement in a burglary at Clasen’s Tavern in Union earlier this month, police said Thursday.
Harold T. Caley Jr., 31, of Crystal Lake, and Andrew C. Hintt, 26, of Woodstock, are each being held on a $70,000 bond at the McHenry County Correctional Facility on charges of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property, according to a McHenry County Sheriff’s Office press release.
Caley is also being held on several drug charges while Hintt also faces a charge of a felon possessing a firearm and a charge of possession of a controlled substance, according to online jail records.

Information passed onto the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office from the Woodstock Police Department lead to the sheriff’s office working with the Union Police Department to secure the arrests in the Aug. 4 burglary that occurred at Clasen’s.
The sheriff’s office multi-jurisdictional SWAT team, the sheriff’s office narcotics task force and members of the United States Marshal Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force assisted in the investigation.

Caley and Hintt are both expected back in court on Sept. 12.
