Crystal Lake Man Faces Child Porn Charges
The 53-year-old man was arrested Thursday and his bail has been set at $50,000.
A 53-year-old Crystal Lake man has been arrested on child pornography charges, police said. Authorities issued an arrest warrant for John J. Dzierzynski, of 1560 Yellowstone Circle in Crystal, following an investigation by the Crystal Lake Police Department and Illinois Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Unit. A search was conducted Thursday at Dzierzysnki's home.
The Crystal Lake man was taken into custody at his home and he has been charged with four counts of child pornography. Bail has been set at $50,000 for Dzierzynski who remains in custody at the McHenry County Jail Friday.
He is next expected in court on Sept. 27.
