Crystal Lake OKs Final Site Plan For Mercyhealth Hospital
Construction could start as soon as possible, Mercyhealth officials said.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – The Crystal Lake City Council approved the final site plan for the Mercyhealth hospital in Crystal Lake. The 111,346-square-foot hospital will be located on the southeast corner of the Route 31 and Three Oaks Road intersection and hospital officials now hope to start construction as soon as possible, the Northwest Herald reports. The hospital will have 11 medical surgical beds, an emergency room, two operating rooms, two intensive care beds, a laboratory and pharmacy.
Mercyhealth hopes to open the new hospital by October 2019, according to the Northwest Herald.
