Crystal Lake Park District Unveils Digital Timeline

The Crystal Lake Park District staff has been busy researching our rich 100 year history and the positive impact our services have had on Crystal Lake residents! Take the journey with us in 2021 as we explore the growth of the Park District through the decades!

CELEBRATE WITH US!

Part of staff research included creation of a 100 year timeline that includes highlights about Crystal Lake Park District history, parks, staff, facilities, programs and fun facts. The digital timeline combines narrative, newspapers archives and photos to tell the story of the Park District. The timeline will be on display through the end of the year on our website crystallakeparks.org/100-year-anniversary-timeline

In addition, this milestone anniversary will be celebrated in the following ways:

• Trivia and other fun social media contests
• In-depth articles, photos and interactive timeline on our website
• Park "Pop Up" Events
• Themes & Games at the 2021 Concerts in the Park Series
• More historic happenings throughout the year
