Crystal Lake Police Blotter: DUI and Child Endangerment, Speeding Over 35 MPH
A look at arrests made in Crystal Lake over the past month.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- Here is a look at recent arrests made in Crystal Lake:
- Steven L. Furry Brodt, 27, of 101 Woody Way in Lake in the Hills, was arrested on Aug. 12 for speeding 31 to 39 mph over the limit.
- Bryan B. Jones, 21, of 11141 Kishwaukee Valley Road in Woodstock, was arrested on Aug. 23 on a warrant for obstructing police.
- Eduardo Rico, 22, of 886 Lexington Lane in Island Lake, was arrested on Aug. 26 for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Bond was set at $150.
- Julie A. DeMaria, 31, of Wauconda, was arrested on Aug. 27 for driving on a suspended driver’s license. Her bond was set at $150.
- Felix Fernandez-Marquez, 26, 1213 Riverside Drive in McHenry, was arrested on Aug. 27 for DUI/Alcohol, DUI/BAC .08 and causing a child to be endangered. Fernandez-Marquez was ordered to surrender his driver’s license and his bond was set at $250.
- Daniel Castellanos-Perianez, 22, 4009 W. Lillian Street F in McHenry, was arrested on Aug. 27 for speeding 35-plus mph over the limit. Bond was set at $1,500.
- Karly Marie Barth, 41, of 957 Golf Course Road Unit 6 in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Aug. 29 for DUI/Alcohol, DUI/BAC .08 and violating bail/bond. A court date has been set for Oct. 4.
- Michael David Shula, 62, of Rockford, was arrested on Aug. 31 for retail theft/display merchandise.
- Brendon Leigh, Gaines, 20, of 519 Eisenhower Drive in Marengo, was arrested on Sept. 1 for driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $1,500.
- Patrick Tapia, 20, of 645 Virginia Road Apt. 221 in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Sept. 2 for driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $1,500.
- Cleotilde Hernandez-Rodriguez, 32, of 378 Pierson Street Unit B in Crystal Lake, was arrested for driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $1,500.
