Crystal Lake Police To Host Child Safety Seat Check Event
Police want to make sure kids are safe before families travel this Thanksgiving.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Before parents start their journeys to visit family and friends this Thanksgiving, they're invited to have their child safety seat checked, courtesy of the Crystal Lake Police Department. In partnership with Safe Kids McHenry County and Anderson Volkswagen, police will hold the child safety seat check event on Saturday, Nov. 17.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Anderson Volkswagen, 5213 Northwest Highway, in Crystal Lake.
The free event is aimed at educating parents and caregivers on proper seat installation. No appointment is needed.
