Crystal Lake Ranked as the Best Small Town in Illinois

Crystal Lake has been ranked as the best small town in Illinois, according to recent Wallethub findings.

Wallethub, a personal finance website, looked at 1,268 towns with populations between 25,000 and 100,000 to determine its rankings. The website took into consideration the following factors in determining the best small towns: Affordability, economic health and quality of life. Wallethub ranked Crystal Lake as the 10th best small town in the nation. Other McHenry County towns to make Wallethub’s best small towns list include: Algonquin (No. 2), McHenry (No. 3) and Lake in the Hills (No. 5). Reboot Illinois has a full list of the top 25 best and worst cities in Illinois.
