Crystal Lake Woman Wins $4.5 Million In Illinois Lottery
The winning ticket was purchased at Woodman's Market in Carpentersville.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL - Lynn Pawelek of Crystal Lake recently won $4.5 million in the Illinois Lottery. Pawelek picked up her winning Lotto ticket at the Woodman's Market, 2100 Randall Road in Carpentersville. Her ticket matched all six numbers in a June 10 drawing, according to a news release from the Illinois Lottery.
Pawelek discovered her win when she checked the winning Lotto numbers on the Illinois Lottery website.
"When I realized my numbers matched, I couldn’t catch my breath," she said. Her plans for the money include paying bills, donating to her favorite charity and investing, according to the press release.

Woodman’s Market in Carpentersville will receive a bonus of $45,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
