Dangerous Drivers in Residential Neighborhoods
Drivers are getting worse, especially in residential neighborhoods. This is making our kids less safe.

It seems like driving is getting worse and worse and our children are less safe playing in their own neighborhoods. Drivers are using subdivisions as their own personal racecourses and stop signs seem to be "optional" these days. Is it so important for someone to get where they are going a couple of minutes earlier that they need to ignore speed limits and traffic signs. Just this morning a Crystal Lake lady was in such a hurry to get somewhere that she felt the need to be on her phone, going at least 50 in a 35 mph zone, crossing the center lane to pass cars in front of her who dared to drive the speed limit and blew past a school bus in the process. All of this in a residential neighborhood by Harvest Run and Wedgewood. Definitely need more police presence in the neighborhoods. Too many kids in the area in the mornings to tolerate distracted and inconsiderate drivers. Please start reporting unsafe drivers...for the kids.
