Dorothy Leota O'Connor, 83, of Crystal Lake
Visitation is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, at Querhammer and Flagg Funeral Home. Graveside service is at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Arlington Cemetery in Elmhurst.
Dorothy Leota O'Connor, 83, of Crystal Lake, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at Hospice in Woodstock.
She was born Sept. 28, 1929, in Chicago, the daughter of Peter and Vera (Potter) Hellman. She married James M. O'Connor on Feb. 4, 1956.
She is survived by her husband, James O'Connor; her four children, Linda (Reece) Taylor, Joyce (Michael) Head, James (Kathleen) O'Connor and Virginia O'Connor; 10 grandchildren, Scott, Shelley, Brian, Jennifer, Olivia, Jimmy, Steve, Becky, Michelle, and Aaron; and her many great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Virginia White, and a brother, Robert Hellman.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 at Arlington Cemetery, 401 E. Lake St., Elmhurst.
