This second public workshop for the project is intended to focus on concepts for opportunity sites and will be held virtually on Zoom.

We want your help to create a vision for downtown Cary with a focus on future land uses, connections, and infrastructure improvements that will encourage private investment near the Metra station. This second public open house/ workshop for the project is intended to focus on concepts for opportunity sites and will be held virtually online via the Zoom platform.


The workshop will be held online, via Zoom,
on Wednesday, February 10, from 5:00-7:00 pm.

During the workshop, we will share multiple development concepts for key opportunity sites around Downtown, and provide a summary of engagement efforts thus far. We greatly value your feedback and look forward to hearing your thoughts!

The Downtown Cary Strategic Plan is a collaboration between the RTA and the Village of Cary to guide investment in Downtown Cary. The purpose is to create a strategic plan to identify, initiate, and implement design and development improvements to create a bustling, welcoming, safe and fun downtown.
