During the search, they found 59 grams of marijuana packaged in roughly one-ounce baggies; 13 Xanax bars; a scale and packaging material; and $620 in cash, police said. The driver, who was identified as Jordon D. Linson-Currie, 23, got into a "brief scuffle" with authorities when they tried to take him into custody, according to the news release.
He is accused of then trying to grab one of the deputy's firearms and pulling it from the holster, according to authorities. He was eventually taken into custody without further incident and taken to the McHenry County Correctional Facility.
