The Fox Hills Music Teachers Association (FHMTA) will be hosting its monthly meeting on March 20, 2012, at US Bank, 350 Commonwealth Drive, Crystal Lake at 9:30 a.m. The program will be "Creating a Summer Piano Camp" presented by Levonne Mrozinski and Kathlyn Sbarboro. Ms. Mrozinski was adjunct faculty of piano for 18 years at Harper College teaching class piano, music appreciation and credit piano lessons. Additionally, she has taught class and private piano through the Community Music Center since 1989. Ms. Sbarboro is Piano Coordinator for the Community Music Center at Harper College, teaches both group and private lessons to students of all levels, and oversees all piano performance festivals, recitals, and student placement. FHMTA is comprised of music teachers from the Fox Valley and McHenry County areas, offering a wide assortment of music-making opportunities for students and provides continuing training for teachers through monthly programs.
