CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- No one was injured in a structure fire Monday afternoon in Crystal Lake, fire officials said. Fire crews were called to the blaze in the 1100 block of Windslow Circle at 1:27 p.m., according to a news release from the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department. The blaze caused extensive damage to the kitchen area of the residence.
The blaze caused $75,000 in damage, according to fire officials.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
