Fire it Up to Support Crystal Lake Democrat County Board Candidates

The Fire it Up! Fundraiser at the popular Fire Bar & Grill, 435 Angela Lane in Crystal Lake on Sunday, August 28 from 1 to 3:30 pm, will support the candidacies of four Democrats running for the McHenry County Board. The event was organized by District 2 candidate Gloria Van Hof and will also benefit incumbents Michael Vijuk, District 1, and John Collins, District 2 as well as Laura McGowen in District 4.

The casual reception will include plenty of time to meet and chat with the candidates. The event includes a Luncheon menu of appetizers, pasta, chopped salad, and several delicious Fire Bar & Grill sides. There will be a cash bar.

Other local candidates will have literature and information available.

A Fire Starter admission is $40. Additional support can be donated as a FireStorm SuperHero for $100, Courageous FireFighter for $250, and Fireside Host for $500. All proceeds will be split equally between the campaigns.
