Fire Officials Investigate Garage Fire

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department is investigating the cause of a blaze that broke out in the 700 block of Oak Court Friday night. Fire crews were called to the fire, which broke out in a two-story garage, at about 9:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department.

Firefighters found the fire on the garage floor and were able to bring it under control within 20 minutes, according to a news release.

The blaze caused between $5,000 to $10,000 in damage, fire officials said. No firefighters or residents at the home were injured.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
