Fox Lake Roadside Safety Check Results
The roadside safety check was held last weekend.

CRYSTAL LAKE-CARY, IL - From Illinois State Police: Illinois State Police (ISP) District 02 Commander Michael J. Kraft announces the results of a joint Roadside Safety Check (RSC) with Fox Lake Police Department held in Lake County from late night June 16, 2018, to early morning June 17, 2018. The RSC was conducted on US-12 by Fox Lake and District 02 officers.

Alcohol and drug impairment is a factor in more than 30 percent of all fatal motor vehicle crashes in Illinois, and throughout the U.S., nearly 10,000 people die each year due to alcohol-impaired driving. RSCs are designed to keep our roads safe by taking dangerous DUI offenders off the road. This project was funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
