Freddy's Frozen Custard Coming To Crystal Lake
The restaurant has five locations currently in the Chicago suburbs and will be opening in Crystal Lake in 2020.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is planning to open its first McHenry County location in 2020. The business plans to move into the former Five Below location at 5500 Northwest Highway in Crystal Lake, according to a post on the city of Crystal Lake Facebook page.
A portion of the space will be occupied by Freddy's and McAlister's Deli will take up the remaining space at 5500 Northwest Highway, according to city officials.
Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers serves up burgers; French freies and custard cones, sundaes and concretes, according to the restaurant's website. Freddy's currently has five locations in the Chicago suburbs, including businesses in Lake Zurich, Glendale Heights, Frankfort, Homewood and Orland Park.
