Funds Raised For Crystal Lake Family After Fire Destroys Home
Rob Wysocki was injured in the Monday morning blaze and his family of five is currently without a home.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Funds are being raised for a local family who lost their house in a fire this past week in Crystal Lake.
As of Thursday, more than $31,000 has been raised for the Wysocki family, according to a GoFundMe set up to help bring in funds for the Crystal Lake family of five. The father, Rob Wysocki, suffered burns and has been hospitalized following the Monday blaze, and the family's dog is still missing.
Rob and his wife, Chloe, have three young children and the home has been deemed a total loss, according to the GoFundMe.

"...the Wysocki family could use our love and support as they navigate the next days and weeks to come," according to the GoFundMe. "Please do not underestimate the difference that you can make with your donation. Hope is an incredibly powerful tool after a tragedy. My wish is that the Wysocki family feels the love and support from their neighbors and community and that it gives them hope for better days ahead."
The fire was reported at about 9:10 a.m. on Monday in the 600 block of Glenbrook Road in Crystal Lake, according to the Lake & McHenry County Scanner report. The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters first arrived at the scene, and the sole occupant inside the home was able to escape the blaze.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries, according to the article.
