Gun Pulled On Dealership Workers Over Servicing of Vehicle: Cop
The incident occurred at Volkswagen of Crystal Lake on Saturday.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – Two Algonquin men face charges after one of the men allegedly pointed a gun at employees at Volkswagen of Crystal Lake following a dispute "over the servicing of a vehicle," authorities said. Authorities in Crystal Lake were called to the dealership, 5213 Northwest Highway, at about 2:50 p.m. on Saturday. When they arrived, employees told them a man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, removed a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at employees but did not shoot at anyone.
"Upon arrival, officers learned that a customer/management dispute had taken place over the servicing of a vehicle," police said.
The driver and two passengers then fled the scene, police said.

Employees provided a description of the driver and passengers. Authorities tracked down the vehicle and its driver a short time later. He has been identified as Brian Nowak, 23 of 615 Claymont Court in Algonquin. He was arrested for disorderly conduct, a class C misdemeanor, for his role in the incident.

He has been released after posting bond.

During the course of an investigation, authorities were able to identify the passenger who is accused of displaying the handgun as Djordje Maretic, 23, of 2130 Tahoe Parkway in Algonquin, according to authorities. Authorities obtained warrants for his arrest and Maretic turned himself in at the Crystal Lake Police Department.
He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of disorderly conduct, which are both misdemeanor charges. He was processed and released after posting the required bond.
An investigation continues into the incident. Authorities are still working to identify a second passenger. They are also still working to determine if the handgun that was displayed is an actual gun, according to a news release.
