1 In Custody in Gurnee Barricade Situation
No one was injured in the incident, police said.
GURNEE, IL — Authorities have taken one person into custody following a barricade situation Friday in Gurnee. No one was injured in the incident, according to a tweet posted by the village of Gurnee at 12:30 p.m.
Authorities in Gurnee responded to the area of Waveland and Grand avenues earlier in the day, according to a post on the Gurnee Police Department Facebook page.
"There is an active police response near Waveland Avenue and Grand Avenue in Gurnee for a barricaded subject," according to a the post.
