Homes Evacuated, 1 Arrested After Barricade Situation In Wauconda
The individual barricaded themselves in side a home late Monday night, authorities said.
WAUCONDA, IL – One person was arrested after barricading themselves inside a home in Wauconda Monday night. According to a post on the Wauconda Facebook page,authorities were called to the area of Sheridan Road between Park and Van Buren late Monday night. Those in the immediate area were urged to stay in their homes due to the "police activity."
The person was arrested at about 12:30 a.m., according to a Facebook post. All people who were evacuated from their homes were also allowed to return to their homes around that same time.
