June M. Jackisch, 92, Former Owner of Pinecrest Golf Club

June M. Jackisch, 92, formerly of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, Aug. 5, at Desert Flower Assisted Living facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.

June was born in Arlington Heights on June 14, 1920, the daughter of Frederick and Julia (Fisher) Thies. On August 22, 1941 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mt. Prospect, she married Herbert R. Jackisch.

Along with her husband, she was the former owner of Pinecrest Golf and Country Club in Huntley. An avid golfer, she enjoyed the sport for many years.

She is survived by her son, Stephen (Jean) Jackisch of Scottsdale, Arizona, two grandchildren, Ryan of Chandler, Arizona and Vanessa of Philadelphia, Penn., along with many nieces and nephews.

June was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Judith, and two sisters.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 771 W. Route 14 in Crystal Lake. Funeral will be Saturday, lying in state from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church 178 McHenry, Ave., Crystal Lake.

Interment will be in Memory Gardens in Arlington Heights.
