Lee's Martial Arts Academy (Cary, Crystal Lake) Wins at State!
Lee’s Martial Arts Academy Gets Medals!
Lee’s Martial Arts Academy (next to Jewel) in Cary, and the newest location Lee’s Martial Arts Academy - Crystal Lake (next to Joseph’s Market), sent 10 students to compete at USAT Taekwondo State Championships in Naperville, Illinois. The students from Lee’s Martial Arts Academy, under Grand Master Lee and Master John Lee competed in Forms, Sparring, and Board Breaking and had an amazing medal count bringing home 5 Gold, 5 Silver, and 2 Bronze Medals to Cary and Crystal Lake! In turn, most of the competitors qualified to make the trip to 2015 USA National Championships in Austin, Texas!
The USAT is an official USA organization that represents the United States in the Olympics and will host 5,000 competitors around the nation this year. The students, (Kelly Fletcher, Colleen Fletcher, Katie Maynor, Stella Maynor, Tricia Kennedy, Denice Kennedy, Cody Marcks, Lindsey Harris, Sarah McGee, Jack Nash, and Sam Celske) have worked with Grand Master Lee, Master John, various Olympians, USA official Coaches, foreign World Champions, different country team members, and World sensations to earn their spot.

With Lee’s Martial Arts program, there is always something to do. From improving school grades, raising self-confidence, and anti-bullying proofing is #1!
Kelly Fletcher, and Katie Maynor went to San Jose Nationals in 2014 and placed 5th respectfully in groups of over 60 and 80 participants in their divisions and have set their eyes on getting their gold this year. The training start by trying the various programs, improving their standards in home and in schools, which results in approximately 5% of the students earning to take part in teams.
