Local High School Dance Teams Headed to State
Dance teams from Crystal Lake Central, Crystal Lake South and Cary-Grove high schools are all headed to state.

Several local high school dance teams will be headed to state after competing this past weekend at area sectional meets.
Advancing teams include: Crystal Lake Central High School, which finished in third place at the Class 2A IHSA Dance Sectional in Huntley on Saturday; Cary-Grove High School, which finished in fourth place at the same meet; and Crystal Lake South, which qualified for state with a sixth place finish at the Huntley sectional. Huntley High School finished in second place as a Class 3A school at their home sectional.

State finals will be held on Jan. 29 and 30 at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington.
