According to a statement from Walgreens, appointments can be booked now for COVID-19 shots, with most locations having slots open starting on Saturday. Some "select locations" are offering earlier appointments based on vaccine delivery in coming days.

Currently, it appears most local Walgreens pharmacies offering vaccines Thursday and Friday have Pfizer shots on hands.

The Pfizer application requires three doses of the vaccines while the Moderna application can be done in two shots, officials said. With the Pfizer vaccines, the first two shots would be given three weeks apart with the third coming eight weeks after the second shot.
