Lucille M. Scherer, 100, of Crystal Lake, died May 1, 2013.
Beloved wife of the late Raymond "Duke" Scherer; loving sister of Margaret Krueger; dear aunt of Marge (Bill) Abed, Rose (Joe) Blaha, Jim (Donna) Krueger, the late Mary (Mark) Kostecki; cherished great-aunt of Kristine (Roger) Canchola, Timmy and Billy Abed, and Jimmy Krueger, great-great-aunt of Marilyn Abed and Chawnsie Ficklin, and great-great-great-aunt of Lexie Wells.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, May 6, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.
Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
