We have received approval from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the McHenry
County Department of Public Health to open Main Beach on Mon, July 6.
Due to distancing and capacity guidelines provided by CDC and IDPH, we
will be opening with a reduced capacity. In order to accommodate new
capacity limits, Main Beach will be open to Crystal Lake Park District
residents only until 2 pm. Proof of residency will be required for admittance. After 2 pm residents and non-residents will be granted entrance.
Additionally, we will not be admitting scheduled field trips,
prearranged picnic reservations, and given the limited capacity resident
entry is on a first come first serve basis.

Caring for residents and employees in a COVID world is very different, and we appreciate
everyone's ongoing understanding as we continually adjust to CDC and
IDPH guidelines.
