A Season Beach Pass is the best way to enjoy fun at the beach all summer long. Beach passes are available at the Administration Office or at Main and West Beach during summer operating hours.

Resident Individual Beach Pass: $7

Non-Resident Individual Beach Pass: $50

Please note: Resident Seniors (ages 60+) and Children (3 and under) are free and do not require a pass.

Come on out for free activities at Main Beach on Thursday and Fridays and daily fun during swim break time (meet at the flag pole for a game during swim break.).

Thursday: Fun in the Sand, 2:15 pm

Friday: Fantastic Fridays (Bingo, treasure hunts, crafts and more), 2:15 pm

NEW in 2018 at Main Beach

• Replacement of a 23 year old wooden playground that has outlasted its useful life.
• Replacement and relocation a 50 year old boat rental facility and marina piers.
• Enlarging the sand beach to include a shaded children's sand play area. This new feature complements the more active playground with toddler oriented features.
• Addition of a sheltered picnic area comprised of a shade sail system centrally located between the playground and the beach.
• Addition of a permanent baggo court.
• New sidewalks and lighted pathways.
• New landscaping to complement our current tree replacement plan for the entire park
• Handicap accessibility throughout the park.

Boat Rentals are available at the Main Beach Boat House. All season pass holders receive half-price boat rentals Monday-Friday. Boat rentals include: paddle boats, canoes, sailboats, rowboats, kayas and stand up paddle board.

The Crystal Lake Park District offers reservation packages for resident families, non-residents and corporate groups and weekday groups. Main Beach is located at 300 Lake Shore Drive, Crystal Lake and West Beach is located at 2330 Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake. Reservation packages may include: picnic areas, Main Beach Pavilion, Main Beach Band Shell and West Beach Party Room and Deck. Additional fee add-ons to reservation packages include: reserved picnic tables, tent space, group boat rental (paddleboat, canoe, rowboat, kayak), band shell area.
