Man Hit By Car While Walking Dog Is In Critical Condition

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL – A man is in critical condition after a car hit him while he walked his dog along Rakow Road Monday night, the Northwest Herald reports. Crystal Lake police and fire units and Lake in the Hills police responded around 9:25 p.m. Monday. The man and the dog were walking on Rakow Road near Pyott when they were hit.

The man was first taken to Centegra Hospital - Huntley and then taken by helicopter to Condell Medical Center. The dog was taken to a local animal hospital, the Northwest Herald reported.
