MCCD Hosts Christmas Tree Recycling Events
Trees will be processed into mulch and mulch will be available free of charge at a later date.

As you “undeck the halls” this year, do something good for the environment and recycle your Christmas tree. From December 26 thru January 15 three drop off locations are available that will help keep your holiday tree out of the landfills. Trees are processed into mulch and mulch will be available free of charge at a later date.

Drop off locations:
• Glacial Park, Rt. 31 and Harts Rd., Ringwood (off Harts Road parking lot)
• Rush Creek, 20501 McGuire Rd, Harvard (at twin oaks parking area – west of pond)
Tinsel and decorations must be removed. If trees are transported in a bag, please remove the bag. No commercial drop-offs accepted.
