McHenry Co. Fair Runs Through Sunday
It's that time of year again! Here is what you need to know if you plan to make a trip out to the fair.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL – The McHenry County Fair gets underway Tuesday, July 31, and will continue through Sunday, Aug. 5. At the fair you can see 4-H, Open, and Junior Open livestock and non-livestock shows, educational displays revolving around conservation and agriculture, various vendors from different businesses and organizations across the county, a carnival, and a variety of ground and grandstand entertainment.
The fairgrounds are located at 11900 Country Club Road in Woodstock. A season pass for all six days of fair fun is $25 while daily admission for those 13 years old and older is $8 per person. More information on ticket prices, including daily specials, can be found here.

- 12 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday
- 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday through Saturday
- 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday
The fair's carnival hours are:
- 1 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday through Satrday
- 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday
