McHenry Co. Inmate Dies At Hospital
The inmate died at a local hospital, authorities said.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL – A McHenry County jail inmate died at a local hospital early Wednesday, authorities said. The 48-year-old Spring Grove woman was taken to the emergency room at Centegra Hospital in McHenry after complaining of abdominal pain around 6 p.m. on Tuesday. She was pronounced dead at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, according to a news release from the McHenry County Coroner's Office.
Preliminary findings from an autopsy revealed the inmate had a perforated duodenal ulcer with spillage of fecal contents into the abdominal cavity, according to the coroner's office.
There was no evidence of trauma or foul play, according to the coroner's news release.

Final results and manner of death will be determined after results from comprehensive toxicology testing is complete.
The death remains under investigation.
