McHenry Co. Roadways Are Slippery: Police

The McHenry County Sheriff's Office is urging drivers to slow down and drive cautiously this morning after receiving reports of slippery roadways in various locations of the county. Most reports are being reported in the southwestern area of the county, sheriff’s office officials said early Friday.

Authorities are urging drivers to slow down, begin to brake earlier and be prepared to stop.

“As always, do not drive distracted and watch the roadway,” police said.
