McHenry County Tennis Classic Returns for a 20th Year

The annual tradition that draws tennis players from all over McHenry County and neighboring communities is back – The McHenry County Tennis Classic will be held this July at Crystal Lake Park District’s The Racket Club. The tournament is broken into three Friday – Sunday weekends: July 10 – 12 is Singles, July 17 – 19 is Doubles, and July 24 – 26 is Mixed Doubles. Everyone who enjoys tennis is invited to play, as each weekend features varying age and skill-based divisions for men, women, and juniors. The event draws about 300 players annually and spectators are welcome. Registration for the tournament is available online at tennislink.usta.com, via mail (printable registration forms are available at theracketclub.org), or in person at The Racket Club. Entry is only $33 for singles or $26 for doubles, and a $5 discount comes with online registration. The Racket Club is located at 9109 South Route 31, Algonquin, IL 60102.
