McHenry High to Forfeit Homecoming Game Due to Teachers Strike
The homecoming dance will be cancelled as well.

McHenry Community High School will forfeit Friday’s homecoming game due to an ongoing teachers strike within school district 156, the Daily Herald reports. The school was supposed to play Dundee-Crown High School Friday evening with the varsity Warriors slated to take the field at 7:15 p.m.
The forfeit is the second for the high school this football season with Cary-Grove winning by forfeit over McHenry last week, according to the article.
The homecoming dance that was scheduled for this Saturday will also be re-scheduled, the newspaper reports.
