McHenry Man Charged With Murder in Fatal Stabbing of Wife
Anthony Harrison, 30, is accused of stabbing his wife, Laura K. Harrison, in the throat at their home in McHenry.
A McHenry man has been charged with murdering his wife after he allegedly stabbed her in the throat in their home on Monday, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Bail has been set at $3 million for Anthony Harrison, 30, who is currently being treated at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville and will be taken into custody and transferred to the McHenry County Jail after he is released from the hospital, according to the article. Harrison is charged with first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of his wife, Laura K. Harrison, 30.
Police were called to the couple’s home at 4316 W. Parkway Ave. in McHenry at 8:53 a.m. on Monday where they found Laura Harrison dead inside and Anthony Harrison with injuries, according to the Northwest Herald. Harrison was airlifted to Condell.

An autopsy revealed Laura Harrison died from sharp and blunt force injuries to her neck, according to a press release from the McHenry County Coroner’s Office.
The case remains under investigation by the McHenry County Coroner’s Office, the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office and the McHenry County Major Investigation Assistance Team.
