McHenry Man Critically Injured In 2-Vehicle Crash
The motorcyclist has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following the Friday crash on Route 137 in unincorporated Libertyville
LAKE COUNTY, IL— A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision Friday near Libertyville.
The crash happened when a 2010 Chrysler sedan headed east on Route 137 attempted to make a left turn onto a ramp leading to Route 45 when it pulled in front of a 2010 Yamaha motorcycle, which was westbound on Route 137, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
The motorcyclist, a 56-year-old McHenry man, was thrown from his motorcycle after it collided with the sedan, according to authorities.

The man was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chrysler, a 26-year-old Round Lake Beach man, was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
