Metra Trains Delayed on the Northwest Line Due to Mechanical Issues
Riders on the Union Pacific Northwest line are experiencing delays Monday morning.
Some inbound trains on Metra's northwest line are operating 20 to 60 minutes behind schedule Monday morning due to a mechanical problem on a train.
The delays were caused by an earlier mechanical failure on train #610, according to the Metra website. Metra riders are encouraged to listen to platform announcements for the location of your train or to refer to the Metra website for updates.
