Missing Girl Found Safe In Crystal Lake Park
The 16-year-old girl was reported missing at about 10 a.m. Thursday and found at about 9:15 p.m. in Veteran Acres Park.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- A 16-year-old girl who went missing Thursday night has been found safe. Crystal Lake Park District police said in a news release the girl went missing at about 10 a.m. Thursday, and was believed to be in Veteran Acres Park, according to the Northwest Herald. She was found at the park, 330 N. Main St. in Crystal Lake, at about 9:15 p.m., according to the Northwest Herald.
The Illinois-Wisconsin Search and Rescue Dogs were called in to aid officers in their search.
