Missing Teen Has Ties to Crystal Lake

Chicago police are seeking information on a 16-year-old girl who has ties to McHenry County and has been missing for a week.

Emily Meseth left her home in the 6400 block of N. Nordica in Chicago on Feb. 22, according to a Chicago Police Department press release. She has family in Crystal Lake and could be hanging out with friends in Crystal Lake or other locations in McHenry County, police said.

The 16-year-old is 5’9” inches tall, 215 pounds and has light complexion and brown hair. She has a nose ring and a Chicago flag tattoo on her right shoulder. Meseth remained missing as of Monday afternoon, Chicago police told Patch.
