Make every day Earth Day by planting a native plant garden! Native plants provide food and habitat for wildlife: birds, butterflies, bees, etc. Native plants require little watering and do not need fertilizers. Native plants are beautiful!
The Wildflower Preservation and Propagation Committee will hold its annual native plant sale on Sunday, May 1, at McHenry County College, 8900 US Hwy 14, Crystal Lake, IL from 12 noon until 3 pm. Over 150 species will be available to plant your prairie, savanna, woodland or rain garden.
