New Options For Foodies In Crystal Lake

Nana's New York Deli, Tropical Smoothie Café and Quisqueya Punta Cana Restaurant all opened recently in the City.

Crystal Lake is excited to announce the recent opening of Crystal Lake’s newest restaurants, Nana’s New York Deli, Tropical Smoothie Café and Quisqueya Punta Cana Restaurant. All recently opened and were met with overwhelming demand and support from the community.

Locals have already embraced the unique traditional deli experience at Nana’s New York Deli. If you close your eyes and bite into the ½ lb thinly sliced corn beef sandwich on rye you will feel as though you are transported to the heart of New York. From the moment visitors walk in the door they are met with the New York skyline and undoubtedly witness a deli that is rich with passion. Owner Dan Bailenson has worked in the restaurant business for many years and is incredibly excited to open his first New York style deli in Crystal Lake. Homemade matzo ball soup, corn beef and pastrami sandwiches are just a few of the unique specialties he has brought to the community at 6220 Northwest Highway.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s owner, Gina DelMonico-Williams, brings new delicious and healthy cuisine options to the community. Tropical Smoothie Café held their Grand Opening celebration this week at 5006 Northwest Highway, Unit D. Tropical Smoothie is not just for smoothies, they offer a wide variety of flatbreads and sandwiches for the health conscious diner looking for something quick, fresh and light.

Quisqueya Punta Cana Restaurant located at 35 Berkshire Drive, Unit 10, brings Dominican cuisine to Crystal Lake! They offer a variety of traditional Dominican favorites including empanadas, yaroa, chimi plates, and batidas (smoothies).
