No Injuries In Lakemoor House Fire

The home is currently uninhabitable following the fire, which broke out Thursday afternoon.

MCHENRY, IL — No one was injured after a fire broke out at a home in Lakemoor Thursday afternoon. The McHenry Township Fire Protection District was called to the blaze in the 900 block of South Lily Lake Road at about 1 p.m. and found a heavy fire coming from the rear of the home and heavy smoke throughout the two-story home, according to a news release from the fire protection district.

Forty-two firefighters from six local fire departments responded to the blaze, according to a news release from the fire protection district. The house is currently uninhabitable and the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, fire officials said.
