November-December Schedule Announced for Crystal Lake Park District Grand Oaks Active Senior Center Programs and Events

including Free Holiday Bingo Event and Noon Year's Eve Party

The Crystal Lake Park District offers special events, trips and weekly programs and activities for active senior adults. Registration is accepted up to the date of the program as long as space is available. Registration in advance is required, unless noted. Registration is accepted at the Crystal Lake Park District Administrative Office, located at One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake, or online at www.crystallakeparks.org. The programs below are part of the winter/spring program selection. The winter/spring brochure will be available online at www.crystallakeparks.org beginning December 8.

Our friends at Three Oaks Assisted Living are playing Santa for you to enjoy a FREE fun-filled afternoon. Join us for a day of bingo complete with sweet table and punch. Bring someone special or come on your own to celebrate the holidays with us. Prizes are bigger and there will be GRAND PRIZE for the final game. The first 30 minutes is social time and snack followed by bingo.

Raise a toast of sparkling juice and ring in the upcoming New Year with good times, good friends, good food and good entertainment. Enjoy a breakfast brunch catered by Colonial Café and entertainment by Larry Breidenbach as we sing the classics of Auld Lang Syne and many other favorite songs spanning the decades. If you want to participate in the gift exchange, bring a $5 wrapped gift with you. Wind down the holiday season with this can’t miss party. Attendees may receive a free pedorthic screen.

Time Warp: The Game Show

Program Fee: $12, Resident Discount Fee: $10

Visit the game shows of your youth. Time Warp: The Game Show is a custom made game show with the trivia enthusiast in min. Game will feature classic movies, television shows, games shows and music. Contestants play at their tables as a team. Program includes light lunch and games. We will be joining other park districts at the Wauconda Recreation Center.
