• Crystal Lake Trump Store Owner Reverses Course On Closing Business (patch.com) — Crystal Lake residents are watching more twists at the Trump Truth Store on South Virginia Road, where the owner first announced a closure, then reversed course and used an AI video to claim "fake news." The shop, which recently relocated from Huntley, has struggled with slow sales, shortened hours and controversy surrounding the owner's past traffic arrest and guilty plea, but remains open with limited operations. Locals curious about its future can still find Trump-themed and pro–first responder merchandise there on select days.
